Christopher Davis is a cybersecurity entrepreneur and technologist with a track record of building and scaling industry-leading security companies. He is the founder of Centinela Cyber—a Costa Rica–based firm engineered to serve Latin America and global markets—and former CEO/CTO of HYAS. Previously, he founded Oriza Technologies, which was acquired by CrowdStrike.
A recipient of the FBI Director’s Award of Excellence from James Comey for dismantling the massive Mariposa Botnet, Christopher is a recognized authority on digital threats. He has presented at flagship industry conferences including Black Hat, ISOI, APWG, and ICANN, and regularly offers expert commentary for PBS Frontline, CNN, BBC, ABC, NBC, and CBC.
Blending executive strategy with deep technical rigor, he maintains active research collaborations with Stanford, MIT, Oxford, and Georgia Tech, and spent several years with the Citizen Lab at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs.
